Standing here on the threshold of our front door, I drink in the marvelous beauty of this "gift" called "today" that our Heavenly Father has blessed us with.
The "canopy" above is filled with "waves and waves" of huge wide marshmallows laid upon the canvas of baby blue.
The cool serene air envelops me joyously as my ears are filled with the delightful sounds of praise of the "winged worshippers".
"Good morning, God. Good morning, our Heavenly Father…my Father" my heart and my mouth express greetings with joy and gratitude.
After kneeling and praying over the Prayer Requests, my heart lingers over one from one of our adult daughters in the faith.
She writes: "God bless you, Apostle Jean. Thank you for taking the time to pray for me and my family. My prayer request is for every good thing that the LORD has apportioned to, for and over you, Apostle Jim and Sherah and all of those connected to you in a good way. May the LORD grant us all understanding of who you are and what purpose we are to play in fulfilling Vision 2020. May the LORD reveal His plan and His purpose for us all. I ask that He create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit in me. Thank you for your prayers. I love you."
May our Heavenly Father grant this and all the other Prayer Requests according to His Holy Word and His divine will in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Mark Chapter 2 - The Message Bible
A Paraplegic
1-5 After a few days, Jesus returned to Capernaum, and word got around that he was back home. A crowd gathered, jamming the entrance so no one could get in or out. He was teaching the Word. They brought a paraplegic to him, carried by four men. When they weren't able to get in because of the crowd, they removed part of the roof and lowered the paraplegic on his stretcher. Impressed by their bold belief, Jesus said to the paraplegic, "Son, I forgive your sins."
6-7Some religion scholars sitting there started whispering among themselves, "He can't talk that way! That's blasphemy! God and only God can forgive sins."
8-12Jesus knew right away what they were thinking, and said, "Why are you so skeptical? Which is simpler: to say to the paraplegic, 'I forgive your sins,' or say, 'Get up, take your stretcher, and start walking'? Well, just so it's clear that I'm the Son of Man and authorized to do either, or both . . ." (he looked now at the paraplegic), "Get up. Pick up your stretcher and go home." And the man did it-got up, grabbed his stretcher, and walked out, with everyone there watching him. They rubbed their eyes, incredulous-and then praised God, saying, "We've never seen anything like this!"
The Tax Collector
13-14Then Jesus went again to walk alongside the lake. Again a crowd came to him, and he taught them. Strolling along, he saw Levi, son of Alphaeus, at his work collecting taxes. Jesus said, "Come along with me." He came.
15-16Later Jesus and his disciples were at home having supper with a collection of disreputable guests. Unlikely as it seems, more than a few of them had become followers. The religion scholars and Pharisees saw him keeping this kind of company and lit into his disciples: "What kind of example is this, acting cozy with the riffraff?"
17Jesus, overhearing, shot back, "Who needs a doctor: the healthy or the sick? I'm here inviting the sin-sick, not the spiritually-fit."
Feasting or Fasting?
18The disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees made a practice of fasting. Some people confronted Jesus: "Why do the followers of John and the Pharisees take on the discipline of fasting, but your followers don't?"
19-20Jesus said, "When you're celebrating a wedding, you don't skimp on the cake and wine. You feast. Later you may need to pull in your belt, but not now. As long as the bride and groom are with you, you have a good time. No one throws cold water on a friendly bonfire. This is Kingdom Come!"
21-22He went on, "No one cuts up a fine silk scarf to patch old work clothes; you want fabrics that match. And you don't put your wine in cracked bottles."
23-24One Sabbath day he was walking through a field of ripe grain. As his disciples made a path, they pulled off heads of grain. The Pharisees told on them to Jesus: "Look, your disciples are breaking Sabbath rules!"
25-28Jesus said, "Really? Haven't you ever read what David did when he was hungry, along with those who were with him? How he entered the sanctuary and ate fresh bread off the altar, with the Chief Priest Abiathar right there watching-holy bread that no one but priests were allowed to eat-and handed it out to his companions?" Then Jesus said, "The Sabbath was made to serve us; we weren't made to serve the Sabbath. The Son of Man is no lackey to the Sabbath. He's in charge!"

25You should not stay away from the church meetings, as some are doing, but you should meet together and encourage each other. Do this even more as you see the day coming.

The Message
22-25 So let's do it—full of belief, confident that we're presentable inside and out. Let's keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let's see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching.
Amplified
22Let us all come forward and draw near with true (honest and sincere) hearts in unqualified assurance and absolute conviction engendered by faith (by that leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), having our hearts sprinkled and purified from a guilty (evil) conscience and our bodies cleansed with pure water.
23So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.
24And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities,
25Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching

Fact of the Day: Philly cheesesteak
Harry and Pat Olivieri invented the Philly cheesesteak in 1933. A Philly cheesesteak is made up of thinly sliced beef sauteed in oil and placed into a fresh torpedo, grinder, or sub roll. Raw or grilled onions, hot peppers, ketchup, mustard, and relish can be added. Nowadays Cheez Whiz is also slathered on it, but that was not part of the recipe until 1955. Legend has it that Harry and Pat were tired of eating hot dogs at their hot dog stand in Philadelphia, so they fried up some beef and onions. A cab driver who was a regular customer of theirs came for his hot dog, smelled the sandwich, and wanted one. Harry told the customer that the sandwich was his own dinner, but then agreed to sell it to the cab driver. In 1940 the brothers founded Pat's King of Steaks, and the rest is history.

1. I want to be like the parapeligic and his friends who went through the rough to get to Jesus, they did not allow any crowds, challenges or obstacles to keep them from getting their miracle.
I want to follow that example and not back down, when their seems to be a "crowd" blocking the doorway to Jesus.
I want to overcome what ever I need to in order that I may walk in the fulness of that which God has for me.
SO that I can really help fulfill the Cause of Christ, Vision 2020 with all that is in me.

This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.
I see here how the letter of the Law kills, but the Spirit brings life. The Pharisees and other leaders were so concerned about the rules, regulations, and appearances that they missed the Lord; they couldn't see Him because they were so bound by traditions. We can honor and respect traditions, and rules are necessary, but everything must be subject to the Spirit of God.

What a beautifully overcast day it is this morning. It is so nice to have the dim light to reflect on God as you drive in to work. Thank you God for allowing me to be apart of this day called today.
I receive the extraordinary, exceedingly, exceptional blessings for my life today as I have read this WN.
Again, happy birtday week to my dear Sis Sherah. We love and appreciate you.
Today's WN: Jesus has all power in heaven in earth given unto Him. This scripture reminds me that Jesus then allowed us to go forth in that power. I want to build my faith in order to exercise that power fully for His glory.
The same healer that walked the earth many, many years ago and died for us is the same healer that rose from the dead and is able and willing to heal us today. That is something that I have to continue to remind myself.
As Jesus calls me to do what He has graced me to do for Vision 2020, I want to be as receptive as the disciples where when Jesus called them to join Him on His journey.
Thank you for my devotional meal for today. It was very tasty and I really longed for it early this morning. I needed it to start my day as I was feeling down and out. Now I am uplifted to be able to uplift others. In Jesus Name!!
Thank you for your prayer for me. I am the WHO that can be used by Jesus to accomplish the Father's work.

I thank the Lord for the gift of today in which we can and do choose not to harden our hearts but choose to be on God's side.
From the passage of Mark chapter 2, I like how it was written that the Lord was "authorized" to forgive sins and heal the sick.
I am glad that the price for both have already been paid for all of mankind.
I thank the Lord for us walking in the total victory He won for us over the enemy.

Good Morning, Momma Jean,
What a lovely morning to spend a few moments with you. Thank you, as always, for making time to do this. It IS a big deal, whether it is realized or not. It is not something that I take lightly - and you should know that.
Thank you for sharing Sherah with us. It is a joy to see and share those life experiences. It is comforting and pleasing to share family pictures. It always makes people (me) smile. It gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside.
The "sin-sick" is sticking out in my head today. I don't want to call myself sin-sick - because I don't want to speak life to that ... but the reality is that Jesus said it, and not me. He said He called the sin-sick. He said he did not call the spiritually fit. Something in the back of my head mourns over being "sin-sick." But the reality is that Jesus lives - and so I have victory in that! I don't mind being sin-sick. If it allows me to be called by Jesus. I don't mind being sin-sick if I know that Jesus can and is making me well. I don't mind being the lesser man, if it means that I am that much closer to Jesus. If it means that I need Jesus that much more. If it means that Jesus is thinking of me ... has ME on HIS heart ... has ME on HIS mind - then to me - it is a GOOD thing to be sin sick. But more importantly - it is only "good" because Jesus is making everything alright. I don't want to sin. I don't want to be sick. That is NOT a good thing. But needing and wanting Jesus? THAT is always a good thing, in my book. Jesus wanting me? THAT is all there is. And more importantly, when a doctor is working on you ... you tend to get better under his care. So - with Jesus working on me, I give thanks and praise that I, too, am getting better. Period. There is tragedy in being sin-sick and the thought is gnawing on my brain!!! But there is relief in Jesus.

What I received from the scripture reading in Jesus not only healed the paraplegic; but, most importantly, He first forgave his sins. It doesn't matter if we are made whole and go to Hell.......Jesus is concerned about our spiritual well being as much as He is concerned about our physical and natural well being, our spiritual comes first......Jesus first forgave his sins, then he healed him.

I am so happy to rejoice in another gift of today and to thank you for the Wisdom Note and your prayer.
"I've been running for Jesus a long time and I'm not tired yet!" Those are the words in a song that I heard on the radio this morning when I woke up. I believe the artist is a 70-year-old woman who just recorded her first solo album after singing and recording with the Mississippi Mass Choir for many years. I want to be able to sing that song as if I wrote it from my heart! I want to run with Jesus for the rest of my life! I want to be ready when He "strolls" past and calls me to come with Him. I pray for revelation and understanding to know when He is calling me so that I will not miss it. I know that your ministry has helped me to learn to be obedient to God's Word and I thank you for that.

How are you this morning? Did you rest well? My hope and prayer is that you are strengthened and encouraged and that your rest was restoring.
I was blessed by today’s scripture as I saw how Jesus was ever teaching and blessing. Even as He perceived skepticism and was giving an answer, in the midst He turned to speak healing and deliverance to the man who had been brought in by his friends. He blessed the man, his faith-filled friends, and also the onlookers. He was ever about His Father’s business and truly maximized every moment. Jesus was always mindful of His cause. We witness you doing this before us. And you admonish us to follow you as you follow Christ, and His cause. The scripture reads “AGAIN Jesus was walking alongside the lake” and ”AGAIN a crowd came and He taught them. There are more crowds, more Levis, and more riffraff, like I was, that need to hear Jesus. May we do what is needed to bring them in. Vision 2020.

They brought a paraplegic to him, carried by four men. When they weren't able to get in because of the crowd, they removed part of the roof and lowered the paraplegic on his stretcher. Impressed by their bold belief, Jesus said to the paraplegic, "Son, I forgive your sins."
I desire to be "desperate" for Jesus in all that I do.

WHAT I RECEIVED FROM THE SCRIPTURE…
When I persevere there is not any thing, person, or situation that can keep me from reaching Jesus. I receive that there are times when you have to press through what appears to be an impossible situation to get to Jesus but the operative word or should I say action is to press through. I receive that faith in our Lord supersedes any obstacle no matter how surmountable it may appear to the natural eye. I receive that if we’re not careful that we could be blinded by tradition and miss the essence of the Word—even miss Jesus because of giving more credence to the rules and regulations over God’s purposes. I receive that traditions, rules, and regulations are necessary but they have boundaries and should not overshadow the essence of the true message. I receive that Jesus is still calling us to come along and walk with Him.
You, Apostle James, Sherah and all of your love ones are in my prayers daily. I pray that you are strengthen and encourage through every “biiiiiiiig hug of love” you receive.

When Jesus healed the paragolegic, the crowd was incredulous, then they believed. Today, we still see His miracles and all doubt is driven away when we, by His Spirit, choose to believe. It doesn't stop there, once we believe, we have to take some action and come along with Him. Faith without work is dead, so we have to show Jesus that we believe by not just standing on the promises and sitting on the premises, but by fulfilling the vision that He's give our house.

The part of today's WN that I liked the most was verse 17 which said: "Jesus, overhearing, shot back, "Who needs a doctor: the healthy or the sick? I'm here inviting the sin-sick, not the spiritually-fit."" I liked this part because it is just a reminder that Jesus died on the cross not for "perfect people". He gave His life knowing that we would sin and fall short of the glory of God. The glory of His father is what He wanted us to experience. "The Glory of Heaven in 2007!!!" and then some.

God Bless You Mama Emma Jean,
I really thank God for you and all you do to see that we get fed daily; spiritually. It really means a lot to me. The wisdom notes really help me put Jesus first in the beginning of the day and it makes a big difference for me in even my interactions with others during the course of the day.
I Praise God for allowing me to be in a Church with Pastors who live the Word and Sis. Sherah is fruit of you and Apostle Jim. Sis. Sherah is such an example to all of us of what it is to honor ones parents and love God.
Today what stood out to me is the word "sin" and what Jesus said to the man before he was healed. He also said he has the power to say it two different ways. To see again how much Jesus wants the same for me; us today.
I was blessed too by the prayer you specifically prayed Mama Emma Jean because it helps bring out more understanding in the scriptures for me and help me stay focus during the course of the day on what you emphasize in the prayers.
I say yes to the prayers for today and yes I pray they be manifested in our lives.

Verses 15-17 of the WN today reminds me of something you said in your message Sunday, not to worry about whether a person you bring to church "would be a good fit" because the Lord would take care of that.
He heals everything including sin-sickness and bad reputations.

Thank you for the WN for today. What stood out to me from today's scripture is the fact that thorughout it Jesus does what is thought to be uncommon and even "wrong." Jesus, however, was not phased by the false accusations of His accusers-the Pharisees. He knew who He was and was not intimidated by these so called powerful people. Instead of following the laws created by man He followed the laws created by God.
Jesus helped me to realize that the things we are instructed to do by God are the things that we should do. They are meant to help us not to harm us. Just like Jesus said about the Sabbath, those things that were set inplace for us to follow are meant to serve us and help us grow closer to God.
So often people get caught up in what others say and do. Many follow but few lead or at least lead well. Jesus shows us here that we must be careful of who we listen to because notall of those who claim Christ are truly walking with Him. Amen.

We are so greatful that Jesus came to the earth as the Son of Man, a man just like us, who was also God; to redeem us back to the Father. As He said, He has power to forgive our sins and heal our bodies, so we can rejoice that we have been forgiven and healed!
We are endeavoring to continully walk in the blessings that Jesus has already provided for us, so that we can fulfill His purpose and calling, especially to fulfill vision 2020.

Dear Beloved Apostle Mother Emma Jean:
We're thanking God for another pleasant, freshly made day that He has allowed us to awaken to and enjoy. May we glorify His name in it.
Most impressive in reading Mark 2 today, was verses 1-5, the love, persistent, determination and faith of the four men who lower the paraplegic man down through the roof to get him before Jesus so he could be healed. Mark 2:1-5 After a few days, Jesus returned to Capernaum, and word got around that he was back home. A crowd gathered, jamming the entrance so no one could get in or out. He was teaching the Word. They brought a paraplegic to him, carried by four men. When they weren't able to get in because of the crowd, they removed part of the roof and lowered the paraplegic on his stretcher. Impressed by their bold belief, Jesus said to the paraplegic, "Son, I forgive your sins." May we all have that kind of love, persistent, determination and faith when we bring one another before God in prayer.
I'm still meditating on Sunday's service, 2nd Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked way; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Lord help me/us to come before you consistently, persistently and pray and turn from every wicked way; that you would hear us, forgive us and heal our land. Thank you mother for every rich word you have sown unto us. We love you Mother, Apostle James and Sis. Sherah greatly. Please receive our hugs of love.

I am thankful and grateful that I am a WHO who am called to follow you as you follow Jesus Christ for the glory of God and help fulfill Vision 2020. Thank you and Apostle James for your great wisdom and leadership.
Verses 1-5 stood out to me today. "After a few days, Jesus returned to Capernaum, and word got around that he was back home.... He was teaching the Word. They brought a paraplegic to him, carried by four men. When they weren't able to get in because of the crowd, they removed part of the roof and lowered the paraplegic on his stretcher. Impressed by their bold belief, Jesus said to the paraplegic, "Son, I forgive your sins." I was reminded of how you exhorted us on Sunday about being desparate about what we are believing God for. This stood out to me as an example of being desparate for Jesus. Thus, the paraplegic received his healing. There are some things I'm believing God for that I need to be desparate for and it takes me pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Also verse 17 stood out to me: Jesus, overhearing, shot back, "Who needs a doctor: the healthy or the sick? I'm here inviting the sin-sick, not the spiritually-fit." I was reminded of what Apostle James ministered to us about going out and bringing the people in and filling the seats in the sanctuary so that they can be saved and healed and delivered from their destructions.
May our precious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ continue to guide, lead, and direct You, Apostle James and Sherah and fill you with his wisdom, strength and might today and always.

- Jesus reacted immediately as He was impressed by their BOLD BELIEF in HIM.
- Jesus knows He represents the Father-God and He has the POWER to bring forth

-He is NOT LIMITED to only one method as demonstrated by His reply to what the religious scholars had to say.
-When the people saw the miracle they marveled and gave God PRAISE!

When Jesus called persons to come with Him, they left behind what they were doing REACTING IMMEDIATELY.
They didn't ponder or think about it, they simply came, as a result their lives were changed, I TOO MUST DO THE SAME!!
Jesus MADE A CHOICE about who He would spend His time with.
Because my life is a gift--I am soooo important to the LORD, I TOO MUST DO THIS!!!

Jesus knew who He was and He didn't limit Himself OR those who served with Him to the religious traditions and rules.
Jesus knew He was in charge of everything!!! Even in 2007, JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME, HE HAS NOT CHANGED!!!
I relate this portion of the scripture to our church and our Pastors; how they continue to flow freely by the moving of God's Holy Spirit vs the traditions of man--Not a typical 3 points and a close services. Time is taken at services for prophecy, deliverance, sharing regarding miracles in our midst.
Also ministry received through serving at: God's Garden, Nehemiah, Preparing our Interim Sanctuary, Roller Skating, Breaking bread together, Wisdom notes, etc... Religious folks don't understand us!!!

Today I received that we should reach out to all who are in need, regardless of what they look like, who they are, or what their social status is. Jesus wants us to share His love not only to those who already know Him, but to those who have never heard of Him, those who think they are not good enough to be loved by Him, and those who are afraid to receive the unconditional, undying, matchless love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because they have been hurt so many times before. Those are the people God wants us to reach.

Greetings in the Amazing, Blazing, and Consuming name of Jesus the Christ!!!
This is the day that the Lord has made and I choose to rejoice and be glad in it.
Thank you for today’s wisdom note and prayer. Today I received that it is my faith that brings my blessings. The four men had faith and believed that Jesus would heal the man and their actions conveyed their faith. They climbed on top of someone’s house and tore up the roof to get to Jesus. They were determined and believed in His power. I also received that Jesus is calling and I just pray that he show me and guide me to my part in vision 2020.
I thank God for how He is using you for His Glory. I thank God that he is causing a people to rise up with a desire to do His will. I thank God for Apostles after God’s own heart and who teach us/me according to the word. I thank God for the stirring up of the many anointed gifts of the people so they can be used to draw more people to the Lord. I thank God for the example you, Uncle Jim, and Sherah are and I pray that you all will continue to be to each other what God has ordained for you all to be. I pray for an bountiful, plentiful, fruitful enlargement of strength, encouragement, wisdom, power, vision, health, wealth, blessings, and every good great thing God has for you for it is your Good Great Time RIGHT NOW in Jesus’ Name!!!

Today is another wonderful opportunity I have to praise the Lord! Amen
From today's lesson I thought on the verse that saide the Son of Man is no lackey to the Sabbath. He's in charge!"
This translates for me that living the Christian life is more than just rules. I know that it is God's desire that we be in a relationship with Him--and that means more than simply following the rules. Amen. Although I understand it's important to display Christlike character.

19-20Jesus said, "When you're celebrating a wedding, you don't skimp on the cake and wine. You feast. Later you may need to pull in your belt, but not now. As long as the bride and groom are with you, you have a good time. No one throws cold water on a friendly bonfire. This is Kingdom Come!"

Today's Wisdom Note was a blessing. When the pharisees "lit into the disciples" they did not have to open their mouths to defend themselves! Their Masterfully Magnificent Savior shut the mouths of those nay-sayers without any help. I pray that Jesus does this for all of us who have "tongues rising against us in condemnation" as we are yielded, faithful, obedient vessels.

Dear Apostle Emma Jean, thank you for waiting for us your children and bringing us along with you to be with Jesus. I love you here is my big hug of love.
Standing room only when Jesus shows up on the scene people throng. The Word says there were so many people there that there was no room to receive them. What a tremendous picture this paints. Each one there for various reasons, some curious, some needing healing, some deliverance, all there to see Jesus. There are so many wonderful things about Jesus. There was one who was desperate. He had the palsy and was unable to walk. Knowing to some extent the feeling there is when you are unable to walk or walk properly, I can identify with his desperation because Jesus Jehovah Rapha the Great I AM was present and He was more than sure that he was not going to miss his day of visitation no matter what the risk. People were everywhere even at the point of pressing in, He could not get to Jesus, but determination wins in the end. Oh there is a way, and Jesus is the way, He is the open door. Desperation said whatever it takes, it when you get sick and tired of being sick and tired. It’s very significant that Jesus first preached the word unto them. One word from the Master will make everything all right, it will set things in motion. This man sick of the palsy had support, friends who were in faith with him, but not just in faith because faith without works is dead. When they could not get him to Jesus in a conventional manner, they uncovered the roof and lowered him down before Jesus. Imagine they were not concerned about how it would look, or the fact that it was not their property or whatever. Their friend needed to get to Jesus and they were leaving no stone unturned. Jesus seeing their faith forgave him his sins. The scribes being who they were, and were always attempting to entrap Jesus, even in their minds they harbored wicked thoughts. Jesus being who He was and is perceived their wickedness and immediately addressed it. He said what is easier to say, your sins be forgiven, or arise take up your bed and walk. But to show them exactly who He was and is, that He had the power to forgive sin on the earth, He told the man arise take up your bed and go your way and he immediately arose. All were amazed and glorified God for they had never seen anything such as this before Matt. 5:16 says let your light so shine before men and see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Jesus the light of the world, we must let our light shine, so that men do see our good works and glorify our Father. We must be able to go the extra mile for our loved ones and friends, in the prayer and in the natural. Knowing that God will be glorified and please for we will reap in due season if we faint not. We must turn from our wicked ways, humble ourselves and prayer and seek the face of God so that He will heal the land.

I want to extend a deeply heart felt thank you for allowing God to use you to keep us in the gospels during this season. It has made a tremendous difference in my life. It has caused my committment to God to increase, my committment to you and Apostle James to increase, and my committment to my family and church family to increase.
I know that as a result of staying in the gospels the way that we have has encouraged us to read and study more and that has caused our faith to grow. I know it has mine. I just want you to know that I am so grateful for the experience of the WNs.
Jesus was always about His Father's business. He was always teaching and preaching and demonstrating the characteristics of God by forgiving and giving salvation, healing and deliverance, essentially meeting the needs of the people.
That is what I see myself doing and wanting to do more of. More praying for people and and seeing their needs met. My heart is full of love for man kind and a desire to see them come to such a loving God. It just makes you want to share the good news gospel with everyone I see.
It amazes me how focused Jesus was. The religion scholars were always trying to find something to complain about or say negative about Jesus, but He always had an answer for them. But they never detered Him from the work of God. He was always about ministering to the people and that is what stands out to me among so many other wonderful details of the 2nd chapter of Mark.
Jesus was always looking for those who would pick up their cross, leaving everything behind and follow Him. He was always looking for the James, Johns, Peters, Levi's, Paul's and Marys and Marthas and Deborahs, Apostle Emma Jean and Apostle James of the world who would forsake all and follow Jesus Christ. He was about building His Father's Kingdom. Let us do likewise, to forsake all and follow after our beloved great Apostles as the follow after Jesus Christ and fulfill Vision 2020.

I love you Apostle Mama Emma Jean, Thank you for your love, prayers and for sharing your life with me/us. Thank you for the pictures of our sister Sherah. It doesn't seem that long ago. I remember when she was in the nursery. I remember when she turned 4 and graduated from the nursery to children's church on Varnum Street. Let me stop there. I could go on and on. She is a REAL BLESSING and I can see the beauty of Jesus in her. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHERAH!!!!! Here is my BIG HUG OF LOVE. What I received from the Wisdom Note today was that Jesus Loves the unloved and is no respector of persons. He is never to busy. The people who thronged around Jesus saught Him desperately and had to have faith to receive the answer to their prayers. 21-22He went on, "No one cuts up a fine silk scarf to patch old work clothes; you want fabrics that match. And you don't put your wine in cracked bottles." We need to be careful of false witnesses who claim to be believers but are nothing but deceivers. Jesus says many are called but few are chosen. The religious scholars had an attitude of haughtiness and not of humility. We are to humble ourselves and have compassion for everyone and not look at the outward appearance in a judgemental manner. Today I learned how important it is to be faithful in everything that you do. That was on my mind the whole time I was reading the wisdom note. I can only emagine what God has planned for me in my life; and thank him everyday for providing me with strong, loving, leaders who truly care about my salvation. As we look at the life of Jesus through the scriptures, we see many examples of the fact that He was the Son of God, but His accusers were not open to receive understanding from Him or from the scriptures (or hearing from God), but were focused
only on what they wanted to believe from their own understanding.
We must continually trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not to our own understanding, and acknowledge Him in all that we do.
Once again I thank God for blessing us with our precious Honey Girl twenty one years ago.

The example of how faith pleases and moves God stood out to me in today’s lesson as Jesus ministered to the paraplegic man. I thank God for showing us from His word how to strengthen and grow our faith so that we will truly please Him. I also thank God that He is still drawing men unto Himself, even though sometimes it doesn’t look like anything is happening. But praying in faith will bring results.

How awesome it is to experience, “Extraordinary exceedingly exceptional blessings” which are expressed in my life as I read today’s Wisdom Note. Thank you for sharing the photos of Sherah (and her family) … Lil’ Reggie was in awe of some of the photos (smile). Thank you also for inviting us (vicariously) to the concert of the winged worshippers … I love your descriptions of it ~ every time I read about it, I feel like I’m right there.
As I read Mark 2, especially verses 18-28, it caused me to think about God’s timing … how there are times and seasons for various activities, and how He’s blessed the Vision 2020 family with a ton of gifts that are ready and waiting to be applied at the right time.
I was also touched as I read verse 17 … I remembered some of my church experiences (not at ICI) when sometimes those in leadership didn’t necessarily understand that their job was to minister to the “sin-sick”, not the spiritually-fit.
Father thank you for covenant relationship with You through your son. Please forgive us of all of our sins (sins of omission and commission). Please touch our hearts and help us always remember the reason that You allowed us to be here … the call that You’ve placed on each of our lives. Help us commit all that we are and all that we’ll ever have to the great call … the great commission. And with that same fervor, ensure that we honor those that you placed over us, to help guide us, to pray for our souls. May we always (always, always) give them the honor and support due, is my prayer in Jesus’ name.

How are you? I love you, and I thank the Lord for you daily. The photos of Sister Sherah are so heart-warming. She has the same sweet personality today. It is just so pure and innocent. She is one that loves the Lord, and she loves God's people. Thank God for Sister Sherah's 21st birthday and for her enjoyng many many many more. The Wisdom Note was also a blessing! I prat that as Jesus is strolling along, watching and looking, that He will find me about my Father's business. That business involves Vision 2020. The part that stood out to me the most in the scriptures was how much faith those four men had to lowered the paraplegic down from the roof so that Jesus could heal him. That really blessed me. 母猫躺在路边伤痕累累

徐阿姨说，她曾多次在隆昌路及周边发现被虐待的猫，有的眼睛被踢瞎，有的腿被打断，甚至身上被刀划了大量口子，但肇事者究竟是谁始终是个谜。

“我明白收养它们是一条‘不归路’，但却舍不得放弃它们。我有时到市场买小鱼制作猫食，附近一家饭店的老板答应让我定期拿剩菜去喂狗，这样能省下不少钱，一些好心人有时也会无偿提供猫粮狗粮。”徐阿姨说，即便如此，她目前收养动物也已达到极限，实在是无力再收养这两只母猫了。
